Every new Mangools account starts on Free+. Free+ lasts 10 days and costs nothing: Mangools does not ask for a card, and nothing is charged when it ends. After 10 days, your account moves to the Free plan, which stays free and has lower limits.
Why your account says Free+
Free+ is the plan every new account gets for its first 10 days, with higher limits than Free as a welcome. It is not a paid plan, and it is not a trial of one: you do not need to cancel anything.
You see Free+ in three places:
The account menu in KWFinder and the other Mangools SEO tools shows the badges "MNGLS FREE+" and "AI FREE".
The Your plan page of your Mangools dashboard shows "Mangools Free+" and an Active until date. That date is the day Free+ ends.
The dashboard says "Your FREE+ will expire in 10 days!" and counts down.

To see both sets of numbers side by side, open Your plan in your Mangools dashboard and select Show plan details. During Free+, it shows each Free limit struck through, with the higher Free+ limit next to it.
On both plans, a KWFinder search uses 1 keyword lookup, and the results page of the keyword you searched uses 1 SERP lookup. With 5 of each per 24 hours, that is enough for a few searches a day. How lookups and limits work, and when they reset explains what each action uses.
To see what you have left, open the account menu from your avatar at the top right of KWFinder or any other Mangools SEO tool. Under the bars, the rows Related keywords, Competitor keywords and Tracked keywords highlight your plan's number.
What happens when Free+ ends
On the Active until date, Free+ ends and your account moves to the Free plan. The dashboard says it plainly: after 10 days, the limits are set "to the normal FREE plan level". Nothing is charged, because Mangools never asked for your card.
Your trackings, monitors and their history stay in your account. On Free, SERPWatcher keeps updating rankings only for a limited time, and AI Search Watcher pauses a monitor you do not open. The next two sections explain both.
If you want to keep more than the Free plan allows, subscribe to a paid plan before your Active until date.
SERPWatcher rank updates on the Free plan
On the Free plan, SERPWatcher updates your rankings for 30 days from the day you signed up. Your 10 days of Free+ count toward those 30 days. If your account moved to Free after a paid plan ended, the 30 days count from your last payment.
After the 30 days, SERPWatcher stops updating your rankings until you upgrade. Your trackings, keywords and ranking history stay in your account. The Free plan includes 1 tracked domain and 5 tracked keywords.
AI Search Watcher on Free: why monitoring pauses
On Free+ and Free, AI Search Watcher updates your monitor regularly. On the Free plan, monitoring pauses if you do not open the AI Search Watcher dashboard for 28 days. Paid plans never pause.
Day 21 without a visit: we send you a warning email.
Day 28 without a visit: monitoring pauses, and we send you an email saying so.
Any visit to the dashboard starts the 28 days again.
A paused monitor loses nothing. Your monitors, prompts and history stay. The dashboard still shows them, behind a blurred overlay that explains what happened.
To restart monitoring, select Reactivate monitoring on the overlay, or the link in the pause email. Monitoring resumes at the next scheduled check.
"Your plan has expired" on the Free plan
On the Free plan, some Mangools tools say "Your plan has expired" when an allowance is used up. You can see it in the KWFinder results panel or in SiteProfiler. On Free, the message means that the Free plan does not include more of that limit right now. Your account is still open, and your lookups come back after their 24-hour reset.
On Free+ and on paid plans, the same situation shows "You're doing too much" instead.
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. Free+ and Free cost nothing, and Mangools does not ask for a card to use them. Free+ ends on its own after 10 days, and the Free plan has no end date. You pay only if you choose a paid plan.
