You change your plan on the Mangools pricing page while you are signed in. The button on each plan card says what it will do, for example Upgrade now or Downgrade. When you upgrade, your first payment for the new plan is prorated, based on your current plan and the time left in its paid period.
You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from your Mangools account. A downgrade takes effect immediately, and its unused balance goes toward your next renewal payments.
How to change your Mangools plan
Sign in to KWFinder or any other Mangools SEO tool.
Open the account menu from your avatar at the top right.
Select Upgrade your Mangools account. The pricing page opens in a new tab. For AI Search Watcher Pro, select Upgrade your AI Search Watcher account instead.
Choose Annually or Monthly at the top of the table. The table opens on Annually.
Select the button on the card of the plan you want.
Check the summary and confirm.
AI Search Watcher has its own menu. Open it from your email address at the top right and select Upgrade your account. The AI Search Watcher pricing page opens in a new tab.
The Upgrade your Mangools account link is in the account menu on every plan, Agency included. Agency is the largest plan on the main pricing page. If you need more than Agency includes, contact us.
What each button on the pricing page means
Each plan card on the pricing page shows one button. Which one depends on the plan you have now:

Upgrade now | Moves you to a larger plan. |
Downgrade | Moves you to a smaller plan. |
Switch to annual | Keeps your plan and moves it to annual billing. |
Switch to monthly | Keeps your plan and moves it to monthly billing. |
Subscribe now | Shown on paid plans when you are on Free or Free+. It starts a new subscription. |
What you pay when you upgrade
Your first payment for the new plan is prorated, based on your current plan and how much of its paid period is left. The summary shows the amount before you confirm.
Prices depend on your country and on whether you pay monthly or annually, so this article does not list them. See the current price for your account on Plans and pricing.
When a downgrade starts, and what happens to your data
A downgrade takes effect immediately. No money is paid back. The unused balance of your current plan is carried over and applied to your next renewal payments.
When you downgrade, your plan changes like this:
Sub-users are deleted.
SERPWatcher trackings and tracked keywords stay. Tracked keywords above the new plan's limit are no longer tracked consistently, and their rankings may show gaps or discrepancies.
Before you downgrade, delete the tracked keywords above the new plan's limit. We strongly recommend it, so that the keywords you keep are tracked consistently. Compare the two plans for tracked keywords, sub-users and simultaneous logins too. None of them resets over time, so check what you use now against the new plan's limit.
Switching from annual to monthly billing and removing the SEO tools from your plan are downgrades too, so the same rules apply.
If you pay an older, lower price for your current plan, ask us before you change plan whether the new plan keeps it.
Switch between monthly and annual billing
To change only the billing period, choose the other period at the top of the pricing table. Your own plan's card then shows Switch to annual or Switch to monthly. Moving to annual is handled as an upgrade, and moving to monthly as a downgrade.
Add the SEO tools to AI Search Watcher Pro, or keep only AI Search Watcher
Mangools sells two kinds of plan. The SEO + AI plans (Basic, Premium and Agency) include every Mangools SEO tool and AI Search Watcher Pro. AI Search Watcher Pro is also sold on its own.
You have AI Search Watcher Pro and want the SEO tools. On the main pricing page, the Premium card shows Add Mangools to subscription. The Basic card shows Downgrade and add Mangools and the Agency card Upgrade and add Mangools.
You have an SEO + AI plan and want only AI Search Watcher. On the AI Search Watcher pricing page, the Pro card shows Remove Mangools from subscription. This is a downgrade.
If the change also moves you between monthly and annual billing, the button says so, for example Add Mangools and switch to annual. To see which plan you have now, read SEO + AI or AI Search Watcher only: which plan do you have?
You are a sub-user
A sub-user's account menu has no Billing info link, and a sub-user on an Agency plan has no upgrade links. To change the plan, ask the person who owns the account.
