Canceling your Mangools subscription means turning off auto-renewal. You are not charged again, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Then it expires.
Cancel before your current billing period ends. Until you cancel, the plan renews and you are charged for each new month or year. You cancel on the Your plan page of the Mangools dashboard.
How to cancel your Mangools subscription
Sign in to KWFinder or any other Mangools SEO tool.
Open the account menu from your avatar at the top right.
Select Billing info. The Mangools dashboard opens in a new tab.
In the menu at the top of the page, select Your plan. The page is headed "Active plan".
In the Next payment row, select disable.
Go through the steps described below.
On the last step, select Disable auto-renewal.
In AI Search Watcher, select My subscriptions in the account menu instead. It opens Your plan directly.
The Billing info page holds only your billing address and card details. It has no option to cancel. On a Free+ account, Your plan shows no Next payment row, because there is no payment to stop.
What the cancellation steps ask
After you select disable, a panel opens with two or three steps. The step with the Monitoring plan offer does not appear for every subscription.
First step, "Are you sure?" Start a live chat opens a chat with us. The step also says your subscription will expire at the end of the current prepaid period. To continue, select I am sure, go to the next step.
Monitoring plan offer, if your panel has it. This step offers a smaller Monitoring plan, which keeps your SERPWatcher trackings and AI Search Watcher monitors running for less. To continue canceling, select No, thanks, continue cancelling.
Last step, "Please, tell us why". Choose one of the seven reasons. Four of the reasons ask you to type a few words. Disable auto-renewal becomes available once you have chosen a reason and filled in any text box it opens.
Nothing changes until you select Disable auto-renewal. On the first step, Go back closes the panel. On the last step, Go back returns you to the step before.
How to check that your cancellation worked
After you select Disable auto-renewal, open Your plan and check the Next payment row. It now says "Auto-renewal has been disabled".
If auto-renewal is still on, contact us through the live chat or at [email protected] before your renewal date.
What you keep until your plan ends
Your plan stays active, with all its limits, until the end of the period you paid for. You can keep using every tool until then. On that date the subscription expires automatically.
What happens after your plan ends
When your paid plan ends, your account moves to the Free plan. You lose your paid plan's limits, and your data stays in your account.
SERPWatcher keeps updating your rankings for 30 days after your last payment. Then the updates stop until you upgrade again. Your trackings and their history stay. The Free plan includes 5 tracked keywords on 1 domain.
AI Search Watcher keeps checking your monitors on the Free plan. If you do not open the AI Search Watcher dashboard for 28 days, monitoring is paused. Your monitors, prompts and history stay, and one click turns monitoring back on.

Your current price
Your current price may not come back if you cancel and subscribe again later. Step 1 of the cancellation says: "If you don't reactivate, your subscription will expire and you may not be able to subscribe for the same price again."
You change your mind
You can turn auto-renewal back on until your current period ends. Open Your plan and select enable in the Next payment row. Then confirm with Reactivate auto-renewal.
For card payments, turning auto-renewal back on works up to the last minute. If you miss the date, or the row offers no enable, contact us.
You want to pause or pay less instead
There is no way to pause a Mangools subscription. One of the cancellation reasons is about pausing, but choosing it only records your answer. It does not pause anything.

Does canceling refund your last payment?
Canceling on its own stops only the next payment. Your plan stays active for the period you paid for, so the payment for that period stays as it is. A refund is a separate request, with its own rules. See Refunds.
