Anyone with a free Mangools account can join the Mangools affiliate program. There is no approval process. You share links that carry your affiliate ID, and you earn a commission on the payments of people who register through them. Commissions are paid once a month, through PayPal only.
How to join and find your affiliate link
Create a free Mangools account, or sign in to the one you have.
Open your Mangools dashboard and select Affiliate in the top menu.
Select Promo materials.
Under Example links, select Copy next to a link. Each link carries your unique affiliate ID.
You can also link to any Mangools page with your ID. The Statistics page shows it under Your affiliate ID, with the hint "Just add your ID hash to the end of the link."
Promo materials also has a Banner creator. Choose the Banner content (for example a KWFinder search box for a keyword or a domain), the Size and the Theme. Then select Copy code and paste the code into your website.
How much commission you earn
The affiliate program page offers up to 35% commission on each monthly or annual payment that a referred user makes. In its words, commission is paid "for each full-price payment".
Your rate depends on your tier. The Statistics page of the affiliate section shows four tiers: Silver (25%), Gold (30%), Platinum (35%) and Diamond (a custom rate). The tier follows the average revenue you brought in per month over the last 3 months. It is reconsidered on the 4th of each month, and the page shows the revenue each tier needs.
Only completed payments count. A payment that is refunded or charged back earns no commission.
If a person pays with a custom affiliate coupon, your commission rate for that payment is reduced by the coupon's discount percentage. Your current commission rate is on the Statistics page of the affiliate section.
Commissions on renewals
A referred user's renewals also earn you commission. Each time their subscription renews automatically, you earn again.
The Mangools Terms set one limit: commissions are capped at 24 months. The cap limits how long you earn from each user you refer. You earn from a referred user for up to 24 months after their first payment.
The cap does not apply if you have referred at least one new paid user in the past 6 months. To keep earning from a user beyond 24 months, refer a new paid user at least every 6 months.
Who counts as your referral
A person counts as your referral if they register a Mangools account within 30 days of clicking your link. If they subscribe to a paid plan later, you still earn the commission.
The link used at registration decides. If someone registered through another affiliate's link, or without any link, you do not earn a commission, even if they later subscribe through your link.
When and how you get paid
Commissions are paid once a month, through PayPal only. Without a PayPal account, commissions are not paid out.
You can request a payout once you reach the threshold. The Payouts page states it: "The payout threshold is $150 from at least 2 unique users."
Request each payout within 2 years. Commissions older than 2 years that you have not requested are not paid.
You request a payout on the Payouts page of the affiliate section. Until you reach the threshold, the page shows how much more you need, and your Payout History.
What the affiliate program does not allow
The affiliate program does not allow the activities below. They lead to disapproved commissions or the end of the partnership:
Promoting Mangools on coupon sites.
Pay-per-click (PPC) ads with a direct link to any Mangools website, tool or landing page.
Using the Mangools brand, logo or tool names, or misspellings of them, in PPC ads, domains, subdomains or social media profiles.
Misleading or incorrect information, such as discounts that do not exist.
Promoting coupons that were not assigned to you.
Referring yourself by creating another account through your own link.
Referrals from spam email.

Your affiliate link does not work, or a referral is missing
A link usually fails because only the affiliate ID was copied, without the rest of the link. An ID on its own starts with # and does not open anything. Share the full link: a Mangools address followed by your ID, in the form https://mangools.com#your-affiliate-ID. The Copy buttons under Example links copy the full link.
