Mangools is run by CodeCat s.r.o. in Bratislava, Slovakia, and handles your personal data under its Privacy Policy and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can delete your account yourself, on the Account settings page of your Mangools dashboard. To have your personal data deleted, you can also email [email protected].
What data Mangools keeps about you
The Privacy Policy lists what you may give us when you register or buy: your name, email address, mailing address, card information and VAT ID. It also says we collect some data automatically, such as information about your device and which parts of the tools you use.
Your work in the tools is stored in your account too. The Data Processing Addendum lists it: keywords and searches, tracked domains and URLs, rankings, and backlink data.
Card payments go through a payment provider. The Privacy Policy says transactions "are not stored or processed on our servers".
Who Mangools shares your data with
The Privacy Policy says: "We will never sell your personal data to anyone." Mangools uses outside service providers for hosting, payments, email and support chat, and the Privacy Policy names them. The Data Processing Addendum lists the providers that process your account data, with where each one processes it.
Your account data is hosted mainly in the European Union, in Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centers. Some providers process data in the United States.
Delete your account or your personal data
Deleting your account cannot be undone. The page says: "Your account will be permanently deleted." and "All the data will be definitely lost."
If you pay for a plan, deleting your account on Account settings cancels your subscription automatically. You do not need to turn off auto-renewal first.
Export anything you want to keep, such as your keyword lists and SERPWatcher rankings.
In KWFinder or any other Mangools SEO tool, open the account menu from your avatar and select Account settings.
Select Delete account to open that section.
Under "I want to delete my account forever", select Understand, delete my account.
Enter your password and select Confirm account deletion.
The Delete account section also offers the other choice: "I want to disable the auto-renewal". Its Manage subscriptions button opens your plan, so you can stop paying and keep the account. See Cancel your subscription.
If you cannot sign in, or you want your personal data deleted without deleting the account, email [email protected] from the address of your Mangools account. The Privacy Policy asks you to allow up to 10 days for a response. We may need to check that the account is yours.
Some data can stay after an account is closed. The Privacy Policy says we keep it while we have a legitimate purpose, such as legal obligations, resolving disputes and enforcing our agreements. Order information is kept for our records until you ask us to delete it.
See or correct the data we hold
You have the right to see the personal information we hold about you, and to have it corrected, updated or deleted. To use that right, contact us at [email protected].
You can update most details yourself. Your name or company name, address and VAT number are on the Billing page of your Mangools dashboard. See Invoices, VAT and company details.
Cookies
On your first visit, Mangools shows a banner: "Mangools uses cookies to offer you a better experience." Select Deny all to refuse every optional cookie, or Accept all. More options lets you choose by type: Functional, Analytics and Marketing are off until you turn them on, and Strictly necessary is always on. Select Done to save.
Your choice is kept in a cookie for 365 days. To change it sooner, delete the cookies for mangools.com in your browser. The banner then appears again.
Connecting Google Search Console
SERPWatcher can import keywords from Google Search Console, and the free SEO Content Optimizer uses it too. When you connect, Google asks you to give Mangools access to your Search Console data and your email address. The access Mangools requests includes Google's full Search Console permission, not only the read-only one.
You can remove Mangools' access at any time in your Google account settings.
If you process other people's data in Mangools
If you use Mangools to process personal data as a data controller, the Data Processing Addendum applies. It is part of the Mangools Terms, so you do not need to sign it. To get a countersigned copy, email [email protected] with the subject line "DPA Request".
Before we add or replace a provider that processes your account data, we give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app. You can also ask us at the same address to subscribe you to these notices.
