The compare box at the bottom of the SERPChecker results shows your own page's metrics next to the pages that rank. Export to CSV downloads the results as a spreadsheet file. Save as image downloads one PNG picture for each results page you have loaded, not one picture of the whole search results page (SERP).
Compare your page with the ranking pages
Run a search in SERPChecker and stay on the Results tab.
Find the bar at the bottom of the window that says "Not ranking yet? Enter your website URL and compare the metrics with your competitors!" Press C to jump to it.
In the small dropdown, choose
https://orhttp://. Then type your domain or URL without it, for exampleexample.com.Select Compare.
The compare row shows your page's Link Profile Strength (LPS) and the same metric columns as the table. To change the columns, use Metrics settings (see SERPChecker metrics explained). To compare another URL, select the pencil icon at the start of the row.
On a larger screen, you can drag the compare row up the page by its handle ("Click and move"). Put it next to the result you want to compare. The compare box is not shown on the Snapshot tab.
Does comparing a URL use a SERP lookup?
Comparing a URL in SERPChecker uses a small allowance of its own, separate from your SERP lookups. The account menu does not show this allowance. When it runs out, SERPChecker shows "You're doing too much" and "You've used all of your searches." See Out of limits? Your options.
Export the results to CSV
Select Export to CSV above the results, or press E. On a small screen, the button says Export.
Under Export metrics, choose Selected metrics (the columns you see) or All metrics (all 49).
Optionally, tick Include SERP features (map pack, etc.) and Include global SERP metrics (SEO difficulty, etc.).
Select Download CSV.
The file is named serpchecker_<keyword>_export.csv. Exporting builds the file from the results already on your screen, so it uses no SERP lookup.
What the SERPChecker CSV contains
One row per organic result, with the columns
position, title, urlandlinkProfileStrength, then one column per metric.Metric columns use internal names, for example
domainAuthorityfor DA andtopRankfor WPR.With Include SERP features (map pack, etc.), each feature gets its own row, such as "[SERP FEATURE]: People Also Ask".
With Include global SERP metrics (SEO difficulty, etc.), Keyword SEO Difficulty, SERP Features Impact and Number of Results appear above the table.
The file holds only the results pages you have loaded. To include results 11 and later, select Load more results before you export. Each extra page uses one SERP lookup. Your compared URL is not in the file.
If the file looks wrong in Excel, use Excel's import feature instead of opening the file. Set the encoding to UTF-8 and the delimiter to comma. Google Sheets opens the file directly.
Copy one result's URL or metrics
Each result row has a menu (the three dots after its LPS). Copy URL copies the page address. Copy metrics copies the row's LPS and the metrics you show, as text such as linkProfileStrength: 45, domainAuthority: 60. The same menu has Find backlinks, which opens LinkMiner, and URL Profile, which opens SiteProfiler. Both open in a new tab and use that tool's own limit: backlink rows or a site lookup.
Save the SERP as an image
The Snapshot tab, next to Results, shows what the Google results page looked like. Press T to switch between the two tabs. There are two ways to save it as a PNG image:
Save as image above the results saves every results page you have loaded, one file per page. The files are named
serpchecker_<keyword>_page1.png,serpchecker_<keyword>_page2.pngand so on. This button is hidden on small screens.Save as image under the snapshot, on the Snapshot tab, saves only the page you are looking at.
When the download works, SERPChecker says "SERP has been exported to image successfully." If it fails, it says "There was an error while downloading your snapshot". Try again, or contact us with the keyword, location and device.
On the Snapshot tab, the page numbers and the arrow keys move between loaded pages. Moving past the last loaded page loads the next Google results page, the same as Load more results, and uses one SERP lookup.
The download does not start
If SERPChecker says "Sorry, download is not working in Your browser. Try Chrome or Firefox.", your browser could not save the file. Try again in Chrome or Firefox. For the search itself, see Analyze a search results page with SERPChecker.
