SERPWatcher's white label puts your agency's logo, accent color and company name on the reports you share. You set it up once, under Whitelabel in the SERPWatcher top menu, and it applies to every tracking in your account. You can also serve shared reports from your own subdomain, such as reports.youragency.com. White label and the custom domain are available on every Mangools plan.
Set up white-label reports
In SERPWatcher, select Whitelabel in the top menu. The Whitelabel settings panel opens, with a preview on the right.
Turn on the switch at the top. It reads "Whitelabeling is enabled".
Under Company logo, drag your logo into the box, or select Choose a file (.png).
Under Accent color, pick a color or type its code, for example
#6e22c6.Fill in Company name (required), and optionally Company website and Contact email.
Select Save settings. SERPWatcher shows "Your settings have been updated".
The switch saves on its own, with the message "Whitelabel has been enabled". The other fields are saved only with Save settings.
While the switch is off, the panel says: "While disabled, any changes you see below won't reflect in your reports." Your settings are kept, so you can turn white label off and on again without entering them again.
What logo can you upload?
The SERPWatcher white-label logo must be a PNG file of up to 200 kB. Other file types and larger files are rejected. To remove the logo, select the trash icon on the logo box, then Save settings.
What changes in your reports?
With white label on, a shared SERPWatcher report shows:
your logo at the top, linked to your Company website,
a line in your accent color above the report header,
your company name in the browser tab, and your website's icon.
SERPWatcher email reports change too. With white label on, the subject starts with your company name, for example "Cool Agency | Weekly report for example.com". Replies go to your Contact email. The sender stays "Your Ranking Report ([email protected])". The panel shows a preview of the email.
To share a report, see Share a tracking with a link. To send it by email on a schedule, see Email reports and rank alerts.
Use your own domain for reports
With a custom domain, the SERPWatcher report links you share start with your own address instead of the Mangools one. You need access to your domain's DNS settings. Use a subdomain you do not use for anything else, such as reports.youragency.com.
In Whitelabel settings, type the subdomain under Custom domain for reports. Type the name only, without
https://and without a slash or path.Select Save settings.
At your DNS provider, create a CNAME record for that subdomain.
Set the record's value to
whitelabel.mangools.com.Wait. The panel says it "can take about an hour to take effect".
Most DNS providers do not allow a CNAME record on a root domain such as youragency.com, which is another reason to use a subdomain.
After that, Share tracking gives links of the form https://reports.youragency.com/report?token=.... Links use your domain only while white label is on. Copy the link again after you set up the domain: links copied earlier still point to the Mangools address.
"The custom domain doesn't seem to be valid"
SERPWatcher shows "The custom domain doesn't seem to be valid" when the field holds more than a host name. Remove https://, any slash and anything after it. Type only letters, digits, hyphens and dots, for example reports.youragency.com.
The last part of the domain must be 2 to 6 letters long. A domain ending in a longer extension, such as .agency with 6 letters, works, but .consulting does not. If yours is longer, contact us.
Your custom domain does not open the report
If a report link on your domain does not load, check these in order:
An hour has passed since you created the CNAME record.
The CNAME record is on the same subdomain you typed in Custom domain for reports, and its value is exactly
whitelabel.mangools.com.White label is switched on, and you copied the link after saving the domain.
Opening the subdomain on its own, without a report link, shows "Welcome to the Technical Page for Rank-Tracking Reports". That page means the DNS works: open a full report link instead. If a report link shows "Sorry, something went wrong", copy a new link from Share tracking.
If it still does not work, contact us through the live chat or at [email protected]. Send your custom domain and one report link.
Who can set up white label?
White label and the custom domain are available on every Mangools plan. The SERPWatcher Whitelabel settings are available to the account owner. Sub-users do not see Whitelabel in the top menu. On a phone-sized screen, the menu item is hidden too: use a computer. See Add sub-users to your plan.
