LinkMiner's filters narrow the backlinks you have already loaded. They never load more. To keep a backlink, select its star: LinkMiner saves it to a favorites list for that domain, up to 1,000 links per list. Click any row to preview the linking page on the right.
Quick filters above the table
Above the LinkMiner table are two dropdowns and a search box:
Do/NoFollow: show only DoFollow or only NoFollow links.
Active/Deleted: show only Active or only Deleted links.
Search...: show rows whose title, source URL, target URL or anchor text contains what you type.
The quick filters are hidden on narrow screens, such as a phone. A new search resets them.
The advanced filter
Select Filter above the table.
Enter a range for any of Link Strength, External Links, Citation Flow, Trust Flow and Website Popularity Rank.
To match text, fill in Source URL, Target HREF or Target Anchor.
Select Set filter. The filter switches on.
The toggle on the Filter button switches the filter off and on without losing your values. LinkMiner remembers the values in this browser. A new search switches the filter off, so switch it on again when you need it. Reset clears the values and switches the filter off.
If nothing matches, the table says "Sorry, no backlinks for given filter." Select Change filter settings to adjust it.
Why a filter shows fewer backlinks than you expect
LinkMiner filters work in your browser on the backlinks already loaded, 500 at a time. A filter does not search the rest of the domain's backlinks. To filter across more of them, select Load more first, then filter. See Find a website's backlinks with LinkMiner.
Save backlinks to favorites
Select the star at the start of a row. With the keyboard, move to a row with the arrow keys and press F or L. LinkMiner adds the backlink to the favorites list for that domain, and creates the list the first time. The message names the list, for example "Link has been successfully added to example.com list". Select a filled star again to remove the link.
Each favorites list holds up to 1,000 links. At the limit, LinkMiner says "You have reached maximum of 1,000 favorite links. How about starting your outreach? :)". LinkMiner creates and names the lists itself. There is no option to create, rename or merge a list.
Open or delete a favorites list
Select Favorites in LinkMiner's top menu. Each list shows its domain, the number of links out of 1,000, and the date it was created. A list with no links is greyed out and does not open.
To find a list, type in the "Search for a list..." box at the top of the panel. Until you star a backlink, the panel says "No favorite backlinks?".
Open a list to see its backlinks in the table. Above them, LinkMiner shows Avg. Link Strength, Avg. Citation Flow, Avg. Trust Flow, DoFollow link ratio and Active link ratio. To save the list as a CSV file, use Export under the table. See Export backlinks from LinkMiner.
To delete a list, select Delete list (the bin icon), then Yes, delete favorite list. Deleting a list cannot be reverted.
Preview the linking page
Click a backlink row, and LinkMiner loads the linking page in the panel on the right. Beside the preview are these buttons:
Open website in a new tab.
View URL profile in SiteProfiler: analyzes the linking page in SiteProfiler, which uses a site lookup like any SiteProfiler analysis.
Switch to mobile view and Switch to desktop view, on wide screens. Mobile view is the default.
Show / Hide preview.
On a narrow screen, such as a phone, there is no preview panel. Tapping a row opens the linking page in a new tab.
