To share a monitor, copy its link from Share & Looker Studio. Anyone with the link can view the monitor without signing in, and Re-generate link stops the old link working. For email reports, open Settings and choose Weekly, Monthly or both. Reports go to your account email address.
Share a monitor by link
Select Share & Looker Studio in the left menu.
Under Share your data by link, choose the Default report timeframe: the dates the link opens on.
A monitor has its link from the start. If the card shows Generate link instead of Copy link, select it first.
Select Copy link and send it. To check what others will see, select Preview monitor.
Each monitor has its own link. If you change the timeframe, copy the link again: the new copy carries the new dates.
What people see with the link
A shared link opens a read-only copy of the monitor: Brand dashboard, Prompts, Citations and the pages of single prompts. Visitors do not need a Mangools account. They can change the dates and filter by AI model.
Visitors cannot open Recommendations, Settings, Share & Looker Studio or API & MCP. They cannot export, edit or delete anything.
Stop sharing a monitor
Select Re-generate link. AI Search Watcher creates a new link and says "New share url has been successfully generated". The old link stops working at once.
Apart from deleting the monitor, re-generating is the only way to stop a link. Send the new link to the people who should keep access.
Messages on a shared link
A link that keeps loading and never shows the monitor's data: the owner may have re-generated it. Ask for the new one.
"Monitor not found": the monitor was deleted.
"Invalid share link": part of the link is missing. Copy the whole link again.
Get email reports
Open the monitor and select Settings in the left menu.
Under E-mail reports, next to Receive reports, select Weekly, Monthly or both.
Select Save.
A new monitor starts with both Weekly and Monthly ticked. Reports are set for each monitor, and every AI Search Watcher plan includes them. The page shows the address they go to: "Report will be sent to your account e-mail address". There is no field for another address. To keep a colleague up to date, share the monitor's link instead.
Monitoring status notifications is a separate option in the same section, on unless you untick it. AI Search Watcher uses it to tell you about important changes to your monitoring.
Stop email reports
Untick Weekly or Monthly in Settings and select Save. You can also use the unsubscribe link in a report. It opens a page that asks, for example, "Do you want to stop receiving weekly AI visibility emails for this monitor?" Nothing changes until you select Unsubscribe.
If the page says "This link has expired.", select Manage your AI Search Watcher settings and change the reports there.
One email for all your monitors
With 3 or more monitors on the same report schedule, weekly or monthly, your account gets one combined email for them: a digest. With 1 or 2 monitors on a schedule, you get a separate email for each monitor.
To go back to separate emails, select Prefer separate emails per monitor? at the bottom of the digest, next to Unsubscribe. This link is only in the digest email. There is no setting for it in the app.
The link opens a page that asks "Would you like to switch back to separate AI visibility emails for each monitor?" Nothing changes until you select Switch to per-monitor emails. The change applies from the next report.
